DESCRIPTION: ADULT STUDENT MUSICALE provides a warm and informal setting in which adult students may gain confidence by performing for supportive peers, teachers and friends. Solo, ensemble, vocal and instrumental performances are welcome.

FORMAT: Virtual YouTube premier video

VIRTUAL ADULT STUDENT MUSICALE: April 10, 2022 (SUN) 2:00 p.m.

EVENT DEADLINE DATES:

• Application form and fee due March 1, 2022

• Entry fee: $18 solo performance, $25 Ensemble

• (Ensemble is 4 hand piano duet, two piano, or instrumental group)

• Entry fee goes toward payment forprofessional video editing

• Student videos due to Video Editor by March 25, 2022.

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

1. Playing time per student or ensemble:

10 minutes maximum

2. Repertoire: intermediate to advanced. Well prepared.

3. Memorization not required. Please be sure to have a page turner if needed.

4. Dress Code: Smart Casual

5. Please sign and submit MEDIA RELEASE FORM (bottom of pg. 1 on website)

GUIDELINES FOR VIDEO:

1. Video can be recorded on

iPhone, iPad or other

2. Video should be taken in horizontal view rather than vertical view

3. Please make sure there is good lighting.

4. Please check that audio levels and quality are good before submitting.

5. Please remember to bow before and after your performance. Make sure camera captures a complete picture of your bowing, not just the waist.
